For double-glazed systems, Solar Heat Gain tends to rise significantly with increasing WOA due to the higher transmissivity of double-layer glazing. In winter (January-February), a WOA of 1.3 m 2 in a double-glazed room resulted in a Solar Heat Gain of 781 W, while reducing the WOA to 0.32 m 2 brought Solar Heat Gain down to 333 W.
